Frequently asked
How much does an initial consult cost?
Our one-hour general consultation is $180.00. During this meeting, we discuss your family’s situation as a whole, identify your immediate concerns, and help determine the most appropriate path forward. Depending on the needs of your case, more specialized consultations with one or both professionals may be recommended separately.
Do you offer bilingual services?
Yes. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
What geographic regions do you service?
The Baldner Group primarily serves families in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Depending on the service and the needs of your family, virtual support may also be available.
How long does a typical collaborative divorce take?
Every family’s timeline is different. Collaborative divorce is often more efficient than traditional litigation because both parties commit to working toward an agreement outside of court. Many matters can be resolved within several months, though timing depends on the complexity of the financial, parenting, and family circumstances involved.
How do you handle cases where one partner or spouse ceases to participate?
Collaboration requires active participation from both parties. When someone becomes disengaged, we first try to understand what is creating the obstacle and identify whether there is a productive way to move forward. If the collaborative process cannot continue, we help our client understand the available next steps and can provide support as the matter transitions to another process when appropriate.
Can we use one of the services and not all?
Absolutely. Our services are designed to be flexible. Some families come to us for legal guidance only, while others need academic support for a child, co-parenting support, mental health services, or coordination across more than one area. We meet your family where it is and build support around what you actually need.
Reviews
Working with Carolina and Micaela made a really difficult time feel so much less overwhelming. Instead of trying to figure out the legal, emotional, and school issues on our own, we had a team helping us every step of the way. We always left feeling more organized and with a clear plan for our family.
I’m so grateful for the support we received from The Baldner Group. They were kind, responsive, and truly listened to what our family needed. Their guidance helped us move through a stressful situation with a lot more confidence and a lot less conflict.
What I appreciated most was how much Carolina and Micaela cared about our child’s well-being. They helped us think through communication, school support, and the decisions we needed to make as parents. We never felt like our child’s needs were being overlooked.
There was never a one-size-fits-all approach. They took the time to understand our situation, explained our options clearly, and helped us create a plan that made sense for our family. Carolina and Micaela brought both professionalism and genuine compassion to every conversation.
From the first consultation, we felt comfortable and supported. The Baldner Group helped turn a very uncertain time into something manageable and gave us access to resources and guidance we didn’t even know we needed. We’re incredibly thankful for their help.
