Privacy Policy

Here we explain what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights over it.

Last updated: May 2026 (draft)

Legal draft, pending approval

This text is a courtesy draft prepared by FIDEIA based on standards for professional sites in Florida, USA. The final legal text will be reviewed and approved by Micaela Baldner (FL Family Law Attorney) before public launch.

1. Who we are

The Baldner Group is a multidisciplinary practice based in Florida, USA, formed by Carolina Baldner (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor) and Micaela Baldner (Florida Family Law Attorney). This site (baldnergroup.com) is operated by us together with FIDEIA, our development and operations partner.

2. What information we collect

We collect information in two specific situations:

When you submit a form — name, email, phone (optional), service area of interest, urgency, and message. This information is used exclusively to respond and, if you proceed as a client, open your case in our internal systems.

When you browse the site — if you accepted cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are useful. GA4 is configured with IP anonymization. We do not sell this information to third parties.

We do not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) through this site. Any clinical treatment occurs off-site, in separate HIPAA-compliant systems.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a discreet banner the first time you visit to ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, the site works the same and we do NOT load Google Analytics or Clarity. Your preference is stored in a cookie called tbg-consent for 365 days. You can change your decision by clearing browser cookies and refreshing.

4. We share information with third parties only when necessary

We work with specific providers so the site works. Each has access only to the minimum information necessary for its role:

Sanity — stores editorial content (text, public images). Does not store your personal data.

Resend — sends emails generated from the contact form. Receives name, email and message.

Mailchimp — manages the newsletter list if you subscribe. Receives your email and preferred language.

Mux — serves site videos.

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity — only if you accepted cookies.

Sentry — technical error monitoring. Does not receive form content or cookies.

Vercel — site hosting.

Upstash — form rate limiting (IP only).

Clio Grow / Calendly / SimplePractice — consultation scheduling, if you choose to book through them.

5. How long we keep your data

Form data stays in our system while your case is active or for as long as applicable professional regulation requires. If you never proceed as a client, we delete the data on your request. Aggregated GA4 analytics data is retained for 14 months.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access — know what data we have about you.

Correction — fix inaccurate data.

Deletion — request we delete your data (with legal / professional exceptions).

Objection — refuse use of your data for marketing.

Portability — receive a copy of your data in a readable format.

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under CCPA. If you're an EU resident, you have additional rights under GDPR. Although we primarily serve clients in Florida, we respect these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@baldnergroup.com.

7. Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, secure cookie flags, standard security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, CSP), form rate limiting, and error monitoring. Our internal tools for clinical and legal cases live in platforms that comply with HIPAA and professional standards.

8. Minors

This site is not directed to children under 13. If you are a minor, we ask that you do not send us information through the site. When we work with minors as part of our academic or clinical services, we do so exclusively at the request of their parents or legal guardians, with their explicit consent.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we change the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we announce them on the site for a reasonable period before they take effect.
